Network Service Agent / Computer Technician
We have a need for a combination of skills. The final position will be dependent on
the skills of the suitable applicant,
For an applicant able to fulfil the broader scope of our needs a
full time position is possible, alternately part time / casual /
contract is possible for a more specific skill set.
We are open to all possibilities and if you are capable and
experienced we will work out a suitable arrangement.
The scope of work is for business support,
covering small business networks, servers and workstations,
through to a general computer
technician for in store repairs and on site home / business service.
Business network support agent
Windows Small business server, IP networking and routers
etc.
General business support with a variety of software and
hardware
Skills required
Networking fundamentals
Windows Networking Home networking IP / Internet local networking Router management configuration Understanding of DNS & DHCP
Wireless Networks
Advanced small business networking
Windows
Small business server - installation & management Network
based virus and spyware management
Network support, maintenance and service of complete small
business network environment, servers, ip networking, assistance
with implementation of customer software solutions etc.
Computer service technician instore / general home and business support onsite
Desktop and Laptop computers Windows XP Operating Systems Anti Virus and
Spyware analysis and cleanup General Software issues
Experience
essential
Must have minimum
2 years current experience.
Must have a proven ability to analyse and repair networks, server, hardware,
software and
related equipment as needed.
Must have proven
experience in customer communication and relationships
Communication
All work, either
in store or on site is customer interactive. Communication and
people skills are essential.
Presentation - able to maintain standards suitable for customer
interaction.
Customer communication skills - ability to listen relate and
resolve issues with customers
Team work
- ability to work with others, relate issues and ask for help where
needed.
Ability to maintain a clean and organised workspace.
Flexibility
As a
retail front business and workshop, all positions involve a variety
of experience and responsibility, requiring a keen mature approach,
flexibility and willingness to help with whatever is happening.
Formal
Qualifications are only of interest if they are backed by practical
experience as outlined above.

Drivers License, reliable vehicle, mobile phone,
and own computer essential.
Hours
- General business Hours are 9-5 Mon - Fri, 9-12 Sat,
Business
support work can extend beyond these hours and occasionally requires
emergency callouts out of normal hours.
Remuneration
- Negotiable based on experience
